The entrance is spectacular and the memorial candles are a beautiful memory to the Hillsborough tragedy. We have had a great couple of days staying at the Shankly Hotel Liverpool .The reception staff were friendly and very helpful when we arrived .We had a room which had two king size beds and a double .It had a bar made from a large trunk ,like people took on cruise ships in 20th century.The bathroom(ensuite) was fabulous with its double Jaccuzi with rainforest shower over head .Beautifully tiled and complete with WC ,basin and mirrors.The room attendants cleaned our room to a very high standard .The bar staff make cocktails to die for .I had a Martini Pornstar made with Grey goose Vodka in fact they were so nice I had three.Breakfast consisted of a choice of fresh fruit,cereals ,full English, toast and preserves .And bakery products.All the staff were friendly and couldn't do enough for you .A short walk away are all the sights to go and see.The best hotel I have visited . .�� �6,���F<
