Jesus Mario Gonzalez

Director – San Antonio MBDA Export Center, UTSA

Senior Executive and Independent Consultant with more than 25 years of academic and professional experience, working for world-class global organization such as ING, CEMEX and Tec de Monterrey. He has held corporate leadership roles in Finance, Global Procurement, Business Development and Strategic Planning.

Since November 2019 he has worked for the MBDA Program, part of the Institute of Economic Development of the University of Texas, at San Antonio (UTSA). Staring October 2021, was appointed as Director of the MBDA Export Center. The Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA) is a branch of US Department of Commerce and its main focus is advising minority owned companies.

Earned a M.P.A (Master in Professional Accounting) from The University of Texas at Austin, a MBA (Master in Business Administration) and BA in Accounting from the Tecnologico de Monterrey at Monterrey, Mexico.

Bilingual, Spanish & English. Earned a M.S. (Master of Science in Agribusiness) from Arizona State University and a B.S. (Bachelor of Science in Agriculture) from New Mexico State University.
