Our History

The San Antonio MBDA Export Center provides Minority Business Enterprises (MBEs) with export growth and global facilitation services. Our mission is to help minority-owned enterprises succeed as exporters to countries that have free trade agreements with the U.S. in Latin America.

The San Antonio MBDA Export Center is funded by the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA) and operated by UTSA’s Institute for Economic Development (IED). The San Antonio MBDA Export Center is one of four MBDA Export Centers across the nation.

The MBDA Export Center supported me in preparing an agreement with the client in order to identify the points to negotiate and close the pre-engineering and being awarded the turnkey construction of a slaughterhouse in Ecuador.
