Assistance is provided by the San Antonio MBDA Business Center directly to socially or economically disadvantaged individuals who own or wish to start a business with a minimum of 51 percent ethnic minority ownership.

Such persons include:

Asian Pacific Americans
Asian Indians
African Americans
Eskimos/Aleuts
Hasidic Jews
Native Americans
Spanish Speaking Americans
Puerto Ricans

The MBDA network provides business referral services at no cost to the customer. However, for specific management and technical assistance, the San Antonio MBC does charge a nominal fee.
