San Antonio's Minority Enterprise Development (MED) Week, Oct. 17 – 20, honors outstanding entrepreneurs

With the theme of  “Emerging Industries and Markets: A Blueprint for Success,” MED Week 2011 is dedicated to recognizing outstanding minority entrepreneurs and advocates, as well as supporting the small business community. Click here for an agenda.

This year’s 12 MED Week honorees come from several industries, including financial, IT, healthcare, and construction. Each has a story to tell, and we will get to hear from them during several events. A list of MED WEEK honorees can be found here.

“MED Week celebrates the accomplishments of outstanding minority entrepreneurs and leaders and provides a platform for small and minority-owned businesses to learn about business growth strategies, receive premier training and enjoy networking opportunities,” said Orestes Hubbard, director of the MBDA Business Center and the local host of this annual event.
